AT GREEN HAVEN SANCTUARY
Kim has really made a difference in the lives of the animals at Green Haven Animal Sanctuary. She has a gift of being able to bond and interact with all of the animals, especially the ones who will not allow others near them. Kim’s special gift was immediately apparent to us when one day we asked her to work with a turkey who was well known for her fear of people and quick on her feet to run away when a person approached her. As Kim approached her she looked at Kim with curiosity but did not move a muscle. Instead she allowed Kim to sit near her and then she herself relaxed and sat in the grass with Kim. It was amazing to see.
