ROCCO
My seven-year-old male bull terrier, Rocco, while an energetic, sweet-natured, charming dog with people, has always had an alarming tendency toward dog aggression. He was even kicked out of puppy obedience class for being vicious toward his classmates. Walking him was a tension-filled experience because any encounter with another dog would result in his snarling and lunging, straining at the leash to get at the other animal. I ended up having to walk him late at night to minimize the liklihood of meeting another dog.
Since he has had a few consegrity sessions, I have noticed a marked abatement in his dog aggression. He has behaved beautifully at vet visits, surrounded by several other dogs, obeying my heal command and maintaining a calm demeanor. While I will always be careful with him around other dogs, I am starting to feel far less apprehensive when I have him on leash out of the house. Consegrity has made a real difference in his behavior. ---Robert Orsi New Britain, CT
