The first visit consists of an evaluation to determine if massage or CranioSacral is the best bodywork for your dog and, if it is, how often it will needed. I also want to begin to establish a relationship with you and your dog to see how well we work together. I will do massage or CranioSacral work on the first visit if I feel that this is the best therapy. I will then recommend a plan for future visits. I will often combine massage and CranioSacral work as they work very well together.
If there are issues with injury or surgery I may refer you to a Vet or Canine Rehabilitation practitioner if I determine that those avenues are in the best interest of your dog. Massage and CranioSacral work are ALWAYS a good choice and will help a dog in any situation, but, at certain times, it may not be the most practical and effective choice. I want to make sure that your dog gets the best care.
As of September 2011, I am seeing clients exclusively at Wizard of Paws Physical Rehabilitation for Animals in Colchester, CT.
I am seeing clients Monday and Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 each day. IF needed, other times can be arranged on a case by case basis. Please call Wizard of Paws at 860.267.9191 to make an appointment.
